Tom Kerrisk is an award-winning Irish actor, producer and composer from County Clare, Ireland, whose work spans psychologically driven drama, thriller and genre cinema. Known for his immersive performances and collaborative approach to filmmaking, he has established himself as one of the leading performers working in contemporary independent Irish film.

He is best known for portraying Éamon in An Taibhse (The Ghost), the first Irish-language feature horror film, for which he received the Best Actor Award at the 2025 South African HorrorFest. Earlier, his performance as Christopher Sampson in The Sleep Experiment earned him the Best Actor Award at the LA Crime & Horror Film Festival, reflecting a career built around complex, emotionally demanding roles.

 

In 2026, Kerrisk starred in two features showcased at the Galway Film Fleadh. He played the lead role of Adam in NAXOS, which celebrated its world premiere to a sold-out audience, and the lead role of Kent in Hollow Trees, which went on to win Best Independent Irish Film at the festival. Alongside his acting work, Kerrisk also serves as a producer and co-creator on NAXOS with long time collaborator John Farrelly, reflecting his growing involvement in developing original feature projects.

Away from the screen, Kerrisk is an accomplished musician and composer. He co-composed the scores for The Sleep Experiment and An Taibhse with Ally Donald, bringing the same cinematic sensibility to music that defines his performances.
